Jr., Principal
George McGoldrick is the founder of Black Rock Development. Mr. McGoldrick has been involved in commercial real estate since 1984 where he led acquisitions and development for The Claremont Companies and The Beal Companies, including the redevelopment of the historic Custom House Tower.
◊ Jim Read,
Principal
Jim Read is the co-founder of Read Sand and Gravel and F.T. Read & Sons, and the President of the Read Corporation. Mr. Read is recognized as an industry expert in material handling and reclamation. After selling The Read Corporation in 1997, he founded Hingham Crushed Stone, Inc., where he operated the former quarry on the
Black Rock site.

Their projects include Harvard University's Business School, the interior design of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel,
the Clippership Wharf and The Belvedere at Prudential Center in Boston and The Fairways in Chestnut Hill, MA.

Brian Silva designed the Black Rock Golf Course, a 6,950-yard, par-72 championship 18-hole layout that combines dramatic rock features and natural woodlands to create a unique golf experience. Mr. Silva's work includes the renovation at Seminole Golf Club, North Palm Beach, Florida, and The Olympia Field Country Club,
Chicago, site of the 2003 U.S. Open.
